Enablers:

Your badges were mailed out (along with fun stickers and stuff) early last week! You should be receiving your badge any day now, minus the holiday post office closure! We love you guys! We could not have done this without you!

Kids?

No babysitter, no problem! Dd you know that kids 12 and under are free? Most events are all ages. The events that are not all ages are generally later in the day, clearly marked with a sign and a security guard out front checking ID.

Hours?

The hours are listed here. The con goes mostly nonstop from Friday at noon until Sunday at 4PM! We will stop the party when the last person falls asleep! Check out the programming and gaming schedule for notes on specific event times.

WiFi:

We are pleased that we are able to have free WiFi available for all of our guests and vendors to take payment!

The Home Stretch

Intervention is this week! Can you believe it? It is so surreal! The long hours we have worked for the last 6+ months are finally taking physical form! We just got back from the Hilton Rockville and completed the last of our network tests for the WiFi and crowd flow studies and staff training! Wow, we never sleep…but how can I sleep when I have this much awesome for you guys? I can’t wait to meet you all!

We are SO on point this year! We are just down to printing signage for the event and buying food – everything else is already done. We truly rocked it this year, and we will continue to do so for many years to come thanks to you! We have the most wonderful staff, volunteers, and fans. Our good friends cheering us on from the sidelines have been an unlimited source of inspiration along the way! :D

Not bad for a first year! I must restrain myself from planning the second year until the first one is over… :)

BTW: Don’t stop checking this site after the con – we will be recording everything that we can thanks to our wonderful tech staff. Videos of many panels, photos of the fun, and other things will be updated on this site after the con. In fact, I doubt the site will stop updating until we start posting about Intervention 2011. Even if you cant go, you can still donate and watch the free movies of our programming right here after the event! :D

We are the con that never sleeps because we love it that much!
