We are working with Matt Blum of Wired.com’s GeekDad Blog, Helene McLaughlin of GeekMom, and organized by art teacher Corinne Simmers, to create and provide some really great Children’s Programming at Intervention this year. The panels and workshops will be a place where parents and kids can work on creative projects together.

(If you will be bringing children to Intervention, please see the contact form at the bottom of this page)

Descriptions for Events:

Friday
3:00 PM – What’s a great way to kick of the children’s programming by letting the kids unwind with music, Let them express themselves through song or just plain rocking out to some great Rock Band tunes. If music isn’t their style perhaps one of our art, science, or game stations might interest them.

5:00 PM – Lego Art Competition- Every child has a creative side, let it shine when they are presented with a room full of Legos. There will be an art contest for those who are interested in competing. A given theme will be set forth and the children will be asked to construct a model within it. A judges panel will then decide the most creative in specified age groups and the winners will be announced Saturday Evening.

7:00 PM – Time to wind down, We have a special guest reader to come and tell her tales at our cozy book reading panel.
