I know Brad Guigar has visited Bethesda in the past and really knows his way around webcomics. Philly isn't that far away and it's definitely in his travel radius. Also Danielle Corsetto of "Girls With Slingshots". She's in the area (West Virginia) and has been doing this for a while.

I heard Dave Kellett say he was thinking of making plans to attend the con down the street this year. I'm not sure if he's made those arrangements yet, but if he hasn't you might be able to get both he and Brad.

I'm pretty sure a lot of the "big names" might over look a general all-hands call to webcartoonists, but they might respond to a more personal direct contact. You've already mentioned Kellett, Guigar, & Corsetto. You may also want to get in touch with Kurtz & Straub (the other half of Halfpixel), Joel Watson of HiJinks Ensue, Randy Milholland of Something Positive, Spike of Templar AZ (she's usually at SPX), Meredith Gran of Octopus Pie, Jon Rosenberg of Goats, Jeph Jacques of Questionable Content, Paul Southworth of Not Invented Here, Bill Barnes of Unshelved, Sohmer & Lar of Least I Could Do, the folks at Blank Label (they just changed up some so I'm not sure who's still involved), Paul Taylor of Wapsi Square.

Even if they can't attend Intervention, you might be able to get them to mention it on their blogs. Most of these folks have very active fan bases and it could improve attendance potential.

I'll mention it to the few folks I know personally, but it might sound better coming from one of you guys who are more established in comics (more well known) or more officially connected to the con.

Since he's in Britain, I'd second just about everyone Tobias and BabakganoosH mentioned. Especially Mr. Clevinger. While I'd do awful, unspeakable things to have Lem come to Intervention Con, what I'd do to ensure Mr. Clevinger's attendance would only be a few steps lower than that.

Anthony Clark of http://www.Nedroid.com would be a great get, Aaron Diaz of http://www.DresdenCodak.com would be great, and, if he's not TOO busy, Chris Eliopoulos of http://www.MiseryLovesSherman.com would be sweet - not only because his comic kicks ass, but also because he letters pretty much everything Marvel does. And he's a riot.

Oh - crap, almost forgot about one of my favorites that hasn't been mentioned, http://www.DrMcNinja.com with (edit:) CHRIS Hastings. Shit, he could bring Commissioner James Gordon! I mean, the little fluffball almost won the All American Pet Brands Cutest Dog competition - that would be a HUGE win! (And his comic is pretty spectacular, too. He's also based in NYC. So the minimal travel distance is a plus.)

What about non-comic internet people? Prominent YouTubers, etc. I think Felicia Day was a great suggestion. Monty Oum of Dead Fantasy (are people still following him)? There was also an internet series which made Mario Brothers all gritty/film noir, and I forget the title because I am a bad internetter. Stuff like that, though.

I would love to see Ross Scott, the creator of Freeman's Mind and Civil Protection. He's the man who started the whole X's Mind genre with his wildly hilarious series and even got a deal with Machinima.com and eventually started his own website http://www.accursedfarms.com/News.php [the only problem is that I can't remember if he's currently located in California or Virginia right now ^^; ]
